The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enables their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. That's because it is!

I try a lot of traffic methods and will often share the results with readers of my newsletter. The question people on my list frequently ask me about has to do with traffic exchanges. The most common question is whether they work or not.
First I will define what a traffic exchange is. A traffic exchange is a site where you agree to view other websites in exchange for people looking at your website. There is a point system tracked like money in a bank account. You get points for every site you look at and you spend points every time someone looks at your site. In theory, this is a great idea and it would seem like it should work.
In addition to the free method of exchanging clicks, there are enhanced versions where you can pay to get more people to view you website without having to look at as many sites or in some cases, you can pay and avoid looking at sites at all.
There are two flaws with traffic exchanges.
Number one. People are rewarded by looking at as many sites as possible to earn credits. This way they earn points so other people will look at their site. This means there is a good chance most of the traffic never even looks at your site with any intent of reading or learning about what you have to offer. This is the very definition of low quality traffic.
Number two. If you want to play in this arena, you have to have a different message to your visitors to even get the slightest results. You have to be bold and quick with your point to catch their attention. This in itself is probably not a huge problem but I ask myself this question. "Do I want to change my marketing style to generate low quality traffic?"
My answer is to that question is no as I would rather focus my time and efforts on higher quality traffic methods.

There are basically two types of traffic, paid and free.
This means you are going to have to pay for traffic through either your efforts (free traffic) or your pocketbook (paid traffic).

There is paid traffic and free traffic; nothing more and nothing less.
Let's take a look at free traffic, and see how it works:
Free Traffic
'Free traffic' is the siren song of the digital age.
Is it possible to really get free traffic to your site? Sure. Can you build a business based on this traffic? Yes.
BUT you will have to work hard, and learn how to get (and use) free traffic.
The main sources of free traffic are:
SEARCH ENGINES
Often considered to be the best way to get free traffic, the goal is to get your site listed in the coveted 'top ten' search results. You can't trick the search engines, so the best way to do this is to provide lots of good content.
If your site is helpful to readers, you will do well.
If you try and outsmart the search engines to get traffic you will go broke buying the latest and greatest. These items either won't work, or won't work for very long.
Create a content rich site (with original, high quality content) and the search engines will reward you by displaying your site when people search for the type of information you provide.
FREE ADS
Free ads are a mixed blessing. While they are free, which is good, they usually don't work, which is bad.
If you can place a free ad in a place where ads are usually sold, it might be worth your time.
Word of warning: ad blasters and automated submitters do not work in testing, and should to be avoided.
ARTICLES
Without a doubt, marketing with articles is the number one free traffic method, and anyone can do it.
You start by writing a short article - around 500 words - that describes a problem people face and provides ways to solve that problem.
Once your article is written, you can submit it to article directories, ezines, etc, to get the widest possible distribution.
Write and submit an article each week and soon you will get very interested visitors who are proven to buy.
VIRAL MARKETING
This is when you create something of value that others can give away, while making sure you benefit from it being given away.
The key here is that you both win when the product is given freely.
In most cases, the person who gives the book away for you wins by providing good information that they don't have to write. You win because the product contains links back to your site.
The most common form of this is either some type of software, short e-book or report.
PUBLISH AN EZINE
Publishing an ezine is highly profitable and easy to do. All you need to do is gather, or write, articles about a specific subject and publish an ezine (like the one you are reading now) on a schedule. That might mean every week, or every month.
You can get great articles from all sorts of places, like article directories or ezine directories.
Publish an ezine, offer it to everyone in your address book and who visits your site, and watch your traffic grow.
PUBLISH A BLOG
This is super easy today. If you have a hosting account, the chances are you have blogging software on that account free. If not, you can always use Blogger.
Just as with a website, on a blog you publish great content and search engines will send traffic over time.
It's easy to interact with your readers by letting them comment on posts, and you can tailor the structure to meet your personal needs. Plus you can offer an RSS feed, rather than just emails, for those who prefer getting content automatically.
PARTICIPATE ON FORUMS
This is an excellent, and free, way to earn while you learn. Visit forums that are specific to your site and post questions or make comments.
This works well if you understand reciprocity and are wiling to give a bit before you receive. Don't use your forum post as an ad in disguise.
Once forum members get to know and trust you, they will visit the site you list in your signature area. By becoming involved in the forums specific to your topic of interest, you will get very targeted free traffic on a steady basis.
As you can see, there are many ways to get free traffic to your site. Remember that these methods will take time. But if you have more time than money right now, these techniques will work to get traffic to your site.

If you're dedicated to your personal growth you have probably run across the phrase, "Law of Attraction". It's been written about in books, old and new, and is the main focus of the hit movie, The Secret.
I have to admit, I love this topic but for a long time I was utterly confused about how to make the Law of Attraction work for me. The concepts seemed so intangible I had a hard time grabbing hold of what exactly I could do to unleash the Law of Attraction in my own life.
But like anything you look at for awhile, the pieces suddenly started making sense, and I found the intangible was really quite tangible. I also noticed how natural it is to use the Law of Attraction. In fact, we use it all day long! However, many people still aren't attracting what they really want, maybe even you. That's because the Law of Attraction is generated by two things: thoughts and feelings, and for many their thoughts and feelings feel beyond their control.
A Law of Nature
The Law of Attraction can simply be described as Like Attracts Like. "Like" what? Like energy. In other words, like energy attracts like energy. This can be proven scientifically, but I won't go into the details of how this works. It just works.
Consider the Law of Gravity - you know this is a law of nature, but you don't need to know how it works on a scientific level because you can see for yourself how it works. Gravity holds us to the earth. If you let go of a ball, it's going to drop.
How can you see how the Law of Attraction works in your life? Take a look around you. Everything you have in your life right now is the result of the Law of Attraction. Everything in your life you've attracted. And you've attracted it to you through your thoughts and feelings.
Not always easy to accept
I know this can be hard to accept. It's hard to accept because we are a world that has been taught things happen "to us" and that many things are "beyond our control". And yet, if you analyze why you have the life you have, and you're completely honest about why you have it, you will see a pattern. That pattern will show you that everything you have in your adult life is a reflection of what you think and feel, the majority of the time.
Using the Law of Attraction consciously may require a shift in your belief system. A shift from, "look what's happened to me", to "now that I'm an adult, I create my own life experiences". Once that shift is made you become the conscious creator of your life. You have taken 100% responsibility for your life and what you create in it. YOU are in the driver's seat, and that's a very good place to be. This shift in perspective is empowering. That's because, if you are the creator of your life, you can take full responsibility for the good things that happen to you and the bad things that happen to you. This is a powerful place from which to live your life. If you can take responsibility for the bad, you gain the power to change what you don't like. On the other hand, if you don't/can't take responsibility for the bad, you will remain a victim of your circumstances and have a very hard time creating the life you most want.
We are spiritual beings, having a human experience
I once heard it said we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Being human can be hard. Bad things happen to good people all the time. People get sick, lose jobs, get divorced, lose people they love, fight with each other, and the list goes on. I like to look at challenging life experiences this way: every life experience gives us a gift and that is to help us grow into our full potential.
It still may be hard to accept the Law of Attraction when you think of children who have been abused or victims of hateful crimes. Unfortunately, we cannot see the divine purpose to these kinds of events. I just know as adults we come into our own and have the power to choose how we look at life and our experiences - past and present.
As adults we have the power to choose what happens to us today, and in the future. We have the power to choose what kind of life we live. Bad things may have happened to us when we were children, but we are no longer children, we are adults with choices to make about how we wish to live our lives.
The Law of Attraction does much more than help you manifest the "things" you want. Yes, you can use it to manifest a new car, but you can also use it to heal yourself, find the love of your life, and so much more. The Law of Attraction is a law of nature that shapes your life. You can personally work with this power to create the life you want. It is powerful and it is always at your disposal. You can't escape its power; it is working in your life at all times.
The Law of Attraction is activated by your thoughts and your feelings. Everything in the world is made of energy, including your thoughts and feelings. When you have a thought or feeling you send out an energetic vibration. Because the Law of Attraction tells us what you send out comes back, you will attract back to you things of similar vibrational energy. Like Attracts Like.

Of all the universal laws, the law of attraction is both the most fascinating and the most misunderstood. Fascinating, because as humans we naturally want a tool to help create the life of our dreams, and the law of attraction can certainly help us to do that. Misunderstood because, unlike a tool that we can pull out and use now and again but is otherwise inactive, the law of attraction is operating in our lives constantly and independently, whether we are consciously aware of it, or believe in it, or not.
In other words, there is no need to engage the law of attraction, it is already at work in your life and always will be. So long as you are alive and breathing, the law of attraction is at work. This is great news! You are already using the law of attraction to create everything in your life whether you realise it or not. The results that you are experiencing: your career, finances, relationships, health, home, community, and so on, are a direct result of the law of attraction and your interaction with it in the form of thoughts and feelings.
If you're not creating the kind of life you want though, chances are you are creating by default, allowing the law of attraction to bring you more and more of the same. Unfortunately, we weren't handed a life manual at birth and, for many of us, our parents were not aware of the law of attraction and so did not teach us. But in order to really understand the law of attraction, you first need to understand another of the universal laws, the law of vibration.
Law of Vibration
According to the law of vibration everything is made of energy and has a distinct frequency or vibration. With the advent of powerful enough technology, science now agrees. Quantum physicists have shown that, although matter may appear to be solid, when you look at it through a high-powered microscope so that it is broken down into its smallest components: molecules, atoms, neutrons, electrons and quanta (the smallest particles measurable), it is ultimately mostly empty space interspersed with energy.
In other words, at the quantum level, everything is comprised of energy and empty space and what makes you, your home, your car, the chair you're sitting in, seem solid is the frequency of the vibration of the energy that makes it up.
Not only does your body and all that you consider to be "you" have a distinct and unique vibration (or more correctly a mix of vibrations), but your creations, in the form of thoughts, also have distinct vibrations which affect or blend with your overall vibration.
In turn, your vibrations affect everything around you - your environment, the people and animals around you, the inanimate objects, even the seemingly 'empty' space and they, in turn, affect you. That's why, when you walk into a room where there was an earlier argument, you can sense it. We even use terms like "bad vibes", "you can feel the tension", and "you could cut the air in here with a knife" to describe it. In each case what we are referring to is the energy imprint of the earlier occupants.
Similarly, you may have gone to someone's home, office or business where, as soon as you entered, you felt the "good vibes" that filled the place. That's because, over time, a place becomes imbued with the energy imprints of the dominant vibrations of the people who live or work there. So a home, for example, can literally become filled with love or tension or anger or sadness or any other emotion, and that home will feel that way to a visitor even if none of the regular occupants are at home at the time. If you've ever entered such a place you may even have noticed how you just relaxed and felt good in response to the "good vibes" around you. Of course, the extent to which you take on the vibrations of the people and things around you is up to you - but for most people, this is not a conscious decision.
So, you are giving off vibrations every second of every day. You are also simultaneously receiving and translating the vibrations of everything and everyone around you. If we use the analogy of television, you are both a television transmitter, beaming out your own unique station, and also a television set or receiver, able to tune in to all the stations or frequencies being broadcast around you. Sometimes we refer to these incoming vibrations as intuition or "gut feelings".
So how do you know what your vibration is at any moment?
Simple - ask yourself how you are feeling.
Your emotions are a quick and handy guide to your vibration in any moment. If you feel loving, you are vibrating at the frequency of love; if you feel angry, you are vibrating at the frequency of anger; if you feel curious, you are vibrating at the frequency of curiosity, and those vibrations are received by everything and everyone around you. You are also, through the law of attraction, bringing to you more experiences that will match this vibration so when you feel angry the law of attraction will bring to you more experiences that will elicit the feeling of anger, you will attract angry people and find yourself in the middle of angry situations.
Have you ever had a day where you felt lousy, but tried to pretend that everything was OK to family, friends or co-workers? It doesn't work does it? Your friends, family or co-workers know straight away that you are not how you are pretending to be. They may ask if something is wrong, or comment that you don't seem to be your normal self. They pick up on the incongruence between what you are saying and your vibration. Because we are not used to explaining in terms of vibrations, they may attribute their knowing to something more mundane like tone of voice or body language, but even people without the full use of their senses can detect this type of incongruence.
To sum up, you are sending out vibrations every moment of every day. Those vibrations are a mix of your thoughts and feelings and they affect everything around you. At the same time you are also receiving and translating the vibrations of everything around you (which can, in turn, affect your vibration by how you react to them). Now that we understand vibration, let's look at how it interacts with the law of attraction.
The law of attraction, simply put, means energy attracts like energy. You may also have heard it expressed as "like attracts like', "that which is like unto itself is drawn" and even "thoughts become things".
The law of attraction is at work in your life every minute of every day. Your vibrations are constantly being broadcast to, and received, by the universe. This activates the law of attraction which then matches your vibrations and attracts to you similar vibrations in the form of people, things and situations in your life. In other words you are always creating your life through your thoughts and feelings. The conditions in your life, whether they are what you want or not, are always a match to your dominant vibrations.
The law of attraction, like all the universal laws, operates whether you are aware of it or not, or believe it or not. The often-used terms "what you focus on grows", "careful what you wish for (cause you just might get it)", "birds of a feather flock together" and "you can't get enough of what you don't want" are all examples of ways that we describe the law of attraction in action.
So, the question becomes - if your life is not how you would wish it to be, how do you change it? And the answer most often given by law of attraction and personal development teachers is a simple one - change your thoughts.
Simple - yes, but not easy. Here's why.
Somewhere between 94 - 98% of all thoughts are subconscious, that is, below or out of conscious awareness which means that only 2 - 6% of your thoughts are ever conscious. So, even if you managed to change all of your conscious thoughts to be positive, that still leaves an awful lot of subconscious thought, at least some of which would be negative, vibrating away in the background without you even being aware of it! If you're having trouble creating what you want in life, chances are your subconscious mind is at fault.

I remembered watching the Law of Attraction video, and there were these statements - "Whether you believe or not, universal laws govern the universe. These Laws of Attraction are basic principles of life and have been around since creation. The Laws are laws of the Divine Universe. The Secret Law of Attraction applies to everyone, everywhere. Secret Law of Attraction cannot be changed and cannot be broken."
In the movie, the Secret, it is reported that a vegetable managed to walk again from his death bed because of using The Secret, i.e. the Law of Attraction.
There are a lot of negative people around, but they do not do anything to improve their life, instead they just talk about it and moan about it. How do you feel when somebody tells you that you are destined to be a normal person just like everybody else? Do you let it get to you or make a decision that you will prove them wrong? When you have decided to go for your goal, no matter how big or small, make a conscious decision and go for it, ignoring what others have told you or are going to tell you. Whatever you do, if you are really determined to do it, you will do it well. The Secret of Law has come into play. The Law does not know the difference between good and bad thoughts. Rather, it gives you what you are thinking about. The Law of Attraction video shares with you the Secret.
Miracles happen. The Secret movies proves that a vegetable, in real life, managed to walk again from his dead bed because of using the Secret, i. e. The Law of Attraction.
Positive visualization is very powerful as it will open your eyes and your life to a world that is brighter and better than the negative one which most people dwell in.
When you were a child, you would go for your desire. Would you now? What would happen to make sure you go for your dream, just like a child?
The Law of Attraction responds to whatever vibration you are sending out into the Universe. You will receive more of what you are vibrating. Thus it is important that you are not vibrating your "fear" energy! You are less likely to feel down and instead you allow positive visualization to guide you to happy thoughts. Many people make excuses of why they cannot do this or that. Has this happened to you? Life these days can be hectic. Because of leading such a hectic life, you suffer more stress It causes more stress, and you don't need stress at this moment in time. You can make positive visualization work in your life and start turning your bad situations into good ones. Like in the Law of Attraction video, Adam managed to change the whole circumstances around by visualizing positively about his situation. All his problems diminished.
When you know how to manifest the Secret in life, you will be able to get through tough times. The Law of Attraction video does not only shares advices and tips, but also shows case studies of real life people of their amazing turn-around.
When you watch the video, you realize that Secret of Law of Attraction is not as big a Secret, as the hit movie would have you believed, but it is still critical to watch it as it reinforce your beliefs that you can achieve anything when you put your mind to it. You may start to see all things in positive light regardless whether they are negative or positive. You will start to see that the power of attraction is in force in your life right this moment and whether one is aware of it or not, you are actually attracting your dream job, people and all the positive situations into your life. I know you maybe thinking whatever happens to the people in the Law of Attraction video is not real. But what you have to lose when you commit yourself to practicing the law since you much more to gain than losing.
However you must beware that different people try to tell you a different version of the Secret of Law of Attraction. Remember any so called "Secret of Law of Attraction" that goes against "thoughts become things" is not the secret law. You must have the determination to go on and fulfill your dreams. You certainly have the rights to doubt the power of attraction, but that does not mean that the law does not exist. If you are someone who wants others to do things for you, then you will have a hard time materializing your dream. Do not just take whatever I have shared with you here. Go and test them out, and you will be amazed the power of power of attraction. The Secret Law of Attraction is a supreme gift that we should always be mindful of, be grateful for and never take for granted. When you work it, it will give you back ten folds the benefits. The law of attraction is simple and it will help you meet, achieve and reach the life of your dreams. The law of attraction will work for you if you allow your mind to be expanded and challenged, then you will receive anything you want in your life.
