What Are Traffic Exchanges, and How Can They Benefit Me?

You know the old adage "nothing in life is free?" Well that's not necessarily true. Love is free. Air is free (for now). And advertising is free, well sometimes anyway! I'm amazed at how many times people don't know what these programs are and how they can help you! By definition a traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks.

The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enables their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved. If you have a website, this should be a necessity to you since you can get absolutely, 100% free traffic from it! Sounds nice right? That's because it is!

There is usually some type of a ratio default on these sites. For example, for every site you visit you get 0.4 credits, or for every site you visit you get 1 credit. It really depends on the site you joining up with. These sites are mostly free, but you can upgrade as well and receive some pretty nice bonuses such as *real* cash, extra credits, memberships, banner impressions and more. Again, it depends completely on the site you decide to join. Prices for upgrades start pretty low. Here is an example of some upgrades I found on one website:

1. 100 credits (up to 2000) will automatically be added to your account each month.

2. 200 credit bonus for each new member you refer (Free members earn 100 credits).

3. 10% rebate (up to 30%) with every credits purchase.

4. You earn bonus credits each time one of your personally referred down line affiliates clicks on any of the links on their Start Page or in the Search Engine. That adds up quickly!

5. The link(s) to your site will be part of the "Featured Sites" rotation with other Pro users, and you will receive an equal share of the "Featured Sites" links displayed on our main web site. 1000s per month!

6. You earn recurring monthly commissions accruing DAILY each time one of your down line affiliates upgrades to Pro, or renews their upgrade or buys advertising. (You can request a commission payment any time you are owed $25!)

7. You will get priority listing status in Link Boxes across the web.

8. You will be able to promote an 3 up to 100 sites.

9. Your sites will receive priority review and approval status.

10. As a Pro user you will also receive priority customer support.

And that's for about $5.95 up to $12.95, so that's pretty darn good, all those extras for one simple upgrade! There is also 1 month of testing the PRO membership for $2 only. Other sites as said above, offer ref systems, so it might be something like free members earn 20%, and then of course upgraded members get more so let's say 30%.

Again, it all depends on the site you join and what you would rather have. If you would rather earn cash join a site that gives cash, if you would rather earn free advertising, then join a site that offers free advertising. Personally, I would rather join a site that offers cash because, then I can do whatever I want with the ref money!
